Depending on how you feel, you can just chill at LATITUDE 34 and enjoy the luxurious surroundings and wet edge pool……or you can actively enjoy the stunning beauty that Gerroa and the South Coast has to offer.

You can surf or swim at Shelley Beach which is directly in front of LATITUDE 34 or enjoy swimming, walking, fishing, surfing, wind surfing at Seven Mile Beach….which is minutes away from the house. You may even enrol in surfing lessons at the local Surf school. Children might like to spot the fossils on the wave cut platforms, fish off the rocks, fly a kite or kick a ball on the Gerroa Headland.

You can enjoy a few rounds of Golf at the picturesque Gerringong Golf Course which is also minutes away and over looks Walkers Beach. Tennis Courts are also close at hand, if you are feeling more energetic.

You can also enjoy a leisurely day at one of the many local Wineries….….Crooked River Winery/Coolangatta Estate/Two Figs/Silos Estate….. and enjoy wine tasting and or lunch/dinner at the on site restaurants. Or be pampered with a massage and facial at one of two local day Spas in Gerringong.

Or if you are feeling more adventurous, walk the stunning coastal walk from Werri Beach to South Kiama and look for whales during the migration season. Enjoy Gerringong, Kiama and its’ famous blow hole, shop in Berry, visit the historic village of Jamberoo or enjoy the spectacular scenery from Saddleback Mountain and Minnamurra Falls National Park…..they are all close at hand. Families will enjoy the ‘Action Park’ at Jamberoo with lots of fun rides to occupy the day and amuse the children.

Drive to the Illawarra Fly Top walk and Zipline for amazing views over the rain forest as well as spectacular coastal views. Kangaroo Valley, the Fitzroy Falls, the Southern Highlands, including Bowral and Bundanoon and Jervis Bay are an easy hours drive and are terrific day trips. Enjoy dolphin or whale watching (in season) at Jervis Bay.

There are numerous craft shops, antique shops, award wining cafes and restaurants as well as pubs in the district to explore. You might like to visit The Growers Markets or Craft Markets at either Gerringong, Kiama or Berry. Or visit the Fish Co-op at the Kiama Boat Harbour and buy freshly caught seafood that is sold daily.

There is a fantastic rustic Cafe called the award winning Blue Swimmer very close to LATITUDE 34 that overlooks Seven Mile Beach and the Crooked River. They serve delicious meals or you can ‘take away’. Highly recommended for a long lunch or dinner! Or travel 10 minutes to Berry and enjoy the numerous cafes and restaurants.

What ever you chose to do; you will not want leave LATITUDE 34 at the end of your stay as you will be totally relaxed and refreshed!
